New paid leave and time-off requirements for employers are being introduced, including bereavement leave and paid family leave by virtue of the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, attention grows on discrimination and harassment in the workplace, including the expansion of protected categories and regulations targeting bias in automated decision-making tools.
